Pre-register Friday night for $15. Day of race $20. Includes goodie bag and tee shirt. Runners park on Gardner Avenue at ball field one block north where starting line is. SATURDAY * MAY 15 * 8 am
At the North Shores Community Center, 120 Meadow Avenue, Vilano Beach. Last year there were 175 runners who got free tee shirts and goodie bags with their registration. We are looking for event sponsors, who will have their names on the shirts. Also for sources for water, oranges, bananas, snack bars. Volunteers needed to register runners, give out water and treats and awards. Medals awarded to female and male winners in each age group. Run managed by the Ancient City Road Runners who get a $2 discount. Pre-registration is $15, day of is $20. Pre-reg can be done online or by mail or Friday night. Run starts at the ball field behind the community center on Gardner Avenue. Please park there and not in front of community center. Volunteers also needed to decorate tables and serve food at the Country Breakfast provided by Chef Norton’s crew. You don't need to be in the run to have breakfast. Anyone who wants to set up a flea market table in front of the center can do so free on a first come basis.
